ThunderRun
10K, 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
Support Nyssa's Parks by strapping on your running shoes!
Nyssa is a small community in Eastern Oregon right on the Idaho/Oregon border. It is the "Thunderegg Capital of the World" and hosts Thunderegg Days every July. Since many are in town for the event we are hosting a race to raise funds for our parks.
The race is mostly flat with only a slight elevation. Enjoy country views as you jog
through farmland.

-Eastern Oregon is a hot and dry area. Race day will more than likely be hot and dry but could have a few showers. Please plan appropriately when dressing for the race.
-This is a family-friendly event and running strollers are allowed. However, please be courteous to other runners at the start line by moving to the back of the pack.
-Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in this race. Although we love them, they are too much of a liability for the safety of the other runners.
-We ask that you please clean up any personal garbage/trash and not leave personal items along the course. We also ask that you respect the community that have been helpful in making this race possible.
-MP3 players and head phones are also allowed, but please use caution and be aware of your surroundings as none of the roads will be closed to traffic during the race.
